Days of mugging are never something that I would want to experience again. Now that I am left with the final year project, I can concentrate better; or at least, I can do better than taking two modules together with the FYP at the same time.
There are many things that I wish to do but never have the time to touch at all; I have given up many of my routine work. The sacrifice is too big that I feel so lost.
My result for System Administration was out after a month of waiting and it clearly proved how bad I was at theory modules. Scoring less than 50 marks, I wondered what I had been doing before the examinations.
The end of the two exams papers put my mind to a temporary peaceful but not so peaceful state.
The first paper was a killer. I was so disappointed to hear that most of the questions were same as the tutorial’s guide, which put me in despair since I was among the group who did not receive any tips to go through it.
The second paper took me just slightly more than half an hour to complete since most of the MCQ questions were repeated questions; a pity for my memory was not that good to remember everything.
The first paper had forty-five MCQ questions. One mark awarded for each correct answer, zero for unattended and negative 0.25 for each wrong answer. Five options for each question and I hated the last option “none of the above”. I had to take the risk nevertheless, otherwise, it would be a definite fail.
The second paper’s first answer took me more than one and a half hour to draft out, whereas the remaining six questions were never as easy as ABC. I could not even finish everything within the three hours and fifteen minutes’ time.
