It was the joke of the day when I saw people asking about why “ALT” + “Printscreen” did not work for Windows 7 in Facebook. Someone had already answered it was purely because laptop required the “Fn” Function, and yet, an act-smart person replied saying:
“window 7 is different already... U have to click fn only can copy and paste..”
Does this mean that a person using laptop needs not use the “Fn” key if he is running on Windows XP or Vista operating system?
Computers are designed to separate hardware and software’s development, so that you can easily upgrade either of them without affecting the other, or at least, there will not be a major like a specific key on the keyboard requires additional help to function. That is also the way OSI model is divided into seven layers.
Early in the morning on this special day, I was thrown to recall about one good reason for me to leave – the extra worthless stupid shit. While trying hard to settle the remaining of the MTRC, I was being arrowed, together with Weitat, to the lab to do some checking. It reminded me of the past when I was too soft to reject, while everyone else tried to act deaf to the nuisance, ending up that I was the only person to help out in all the chores. By the end of these two years plus, I had already turned smarter by asking my boss of the work allocation. Since my boss spoke up to request me and Weitat to help out, I left the pile of documents on my table.
It was supposed to be random checking of five stations in each of the three labs for the installation of MS Office 2007, until the quality check had failed. It turned out that the vendor which took up the maintenance of the computers had earlier sent two interns over to do all the work; and instead of restoring the entire system before installing the new software, they simply did the easy way out. Many of the computers in the lab were having problems. That guy wanted us to screen through all the computers and note down the serial number of every failed system. I suggested that since the quality check had failed, we could just ask the company to send someone over to see, and make them double check all the computers, and after which, leaving all the MS office opened for us to check – he turned a deaf ear to my suggestion.
I was supposed to meet up with Faris together with Jingkun. While I was doing the shit, I tried to contact them as Indra rang me up as he wanted to join in as well. When I got back to the office, Jingkun told me he would be going out with Magdalene for lunch instead and I was very turned off for the last minute changes. Since it was no longer a meet-up of the “disciplinary team”, I asked the bosses along for a great gathering. When Faris was already on his way to the hawker centre, the two bosses were still busy inside the office and both Indra and I went down to the administration office to wait for them. After quite some time they arrived but there was a guy who came for course advising, which further delayed us. I was taken aback when I realised that they asked another colleague along. During the meet-up with Faris, I did not speak up much and there were some jokes that I was not very interested in.
Back to office, I started clearing up all the remaining mess. Weitat continued to help out in the checking of the computers even though boss had already stepped in to agree that it was not necessary to go through each and every one of them. I was quite worried for Weitat because he might be taken for granted by the same person who did it to me in the past if he did not reject the stupid craps earlier.
I felt quite embarrassed when Hasnah and Eunice passed me a little gift each because I did not prepare anything physically for them. Joy came back to the office and I shamefully told her I had not finished my farewell letter. In the late afternoon when the office was almost empty, she sent me to the Clementi MRT station. On the way, I was telling her that I had not felt anything yet and it was as though it was not my last day of work yet.
After reaching home, my younger brother’s friends came over soon. The house was messier than before since my younger brother was still packing his luggage for his student exchange trip to Germany. My aunt came over as well and I dozed off for around an hour before we set off. Since the luggage was big, we walked to the lift to squeeze with many working people. They were very disgusting for the lift was supposed to be taken by the needy or people who were carrying bulky items like us, and some of them who arrived later than us even fought to squeeze inside.
We waited for the second train since the first one was packed. My younger brother started to search for his camera’s cable and realised it was not inside his bag. Therefore, I made my way back home from Cityhall MRT to fetch it, which was actually left on my table. I took along my laptop and was glad to find a seat soon on the train to continue typing my farewell letter for my colleagues.
It took me quite some time to find Poppye after taking the Skytrain from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1. I had a feast with the ready-served food. My elder brother and his girlfriend had arrived long before me, and together with my younger brother’s friends, sitting together at the combined tables. My younger brother’s ex-girlfriend arrived next with all the university friends and I still found it very pity that they were not together anymore. I did not question him about it before.
When my younger brother went to check in his luggage, I went to the toilet after holding the shit since before I left my house, but to my disappointment as the toilet was not as nice as expected. While we were at the departure hall to take photos, my mum teared as expected.
My younger brother’s ex-girlfriend said she was going to Germany in a month’s time and told my mum to call her if we had anything to deliver to my younger brother. When she questioned about her number, my mum was at a loss and I had fun rubbing in before I explained to her that my mum’s phone was spoiled some months ago.
On the train, my mum hinted me badly to send my aunt home like usual, which my aunt did not like it. Then she suggested that she would send my aunt home instead and I found it stupid that my mum had to go home by herself after that in the darkness, and thus I followed. In the end, my mum decided to stay in my aunt’s house and thus, I took the opposite train home at Tiong Bahru.
It was not the day to grief and miss my colleagues for the departure of my younger brother was another big blow to my usual life, which I managed to get away from by working hard on the farewell letter. My head was heavy and I could not really think properly.
It was a tiring school holiday’s Thursday. Due to the teambuilding event, we had to report to ITE’s club house at the headquarter as early as 8am.
It was raining and was definitely a turn-off to travel. I took bus 196 and alighted right opposite Fairfield Methodist Secondary School where I started the long walk into the car park. I did not know the exact location of the club house and eventually made a little blunder to waste some energy.
I had my breakfast there and the food was quite good. The event was very well planned given the short time notice. I enjoyed sitting on the chair, looking at my favourite type of magazine – home decoration.
I saw hero for the day, someone who volunteered to contribute ideas and efforts; but I also saw bastard, someone who talked more than actions and made clown of others just to showcase himself.
We had quite a number of prizes consisting of food and vouchers.
After the event, I stayed behind to help out in moving the furniture back. Then, Daniel dropped Weitat and I at Commonwealth MRT station.
I dozed off at home and woke up late for volleyball. It was not a good night for the game. My brain was numbed and that the hurt on my right knuckle denied me from performing. The few of us ended the game shortly and Kachua sent me home.
I passed my CPU to him for him to check for the problem.
My desktop is still enjoying the automatic restart madness. There is still no clue to what has happened except that the power supply might be spoilt. More testing has to be done.
Last Thursday morning, I began the day with lots of distraction. The initial plan was to spend the morning, which was being spared from Bukit Batok, to concentrate on my assignments but problems kept invading my time.
I involved in HTML debugging and many people approached me for helps and advice. Other than moving out of the office, I was kind of grounded with the old Microsoft Access stuffs besides me.
The best thing was that I finally got to reformat the computer on my desktop. Kevin actually offered to crack the password for me but I decided I would rather remove all the old junks inside.
I took the first quiz ever in my university in the evening. It was simply a short test that required my hand to be worn off. Overall, the perfect attendance allowed me to know enough stuffs to answer the questions without much revision.
One of the greatest casualties after reformatting of my operating system was the loss of my Chinese songs’ data. For as neat as I could be, I had been maintaining the information properly.
All the Chinese characters turned into weird symbols. In the past, this could be solved simply by going to “Regional and Language Options” in “Control Panel”, and set the language for non-Unicode programs to Chinese, which was found inside the “Advanced” tab.
My elder brother who reformatted his computer hours before me had faced the same problem, however, he was lucky enough that he had made backups of his songs. He did a replacement of the songs and everything worked fine with the configuration of the “Regional and Language Options” setting.
I had no idea of the problem to the amended files’ details.
Anyway, I resolved to re-label all the tracks’ title, artist, album and lyric for the sixty over songs inside my “new” folder, having to give up on my other songs. It took me the hours and I managed to finish it by four AM in Sunday morning.
Thursday, the only dismiss of the day was when the irritating man approached me once again and I felt stupid for going to work early; not unusual. He asked for Ah Teck at first and to hell I knew about the answer, and next he revealed his true colours and asked me to carry two sets of computers previously used by Yumei and Yicheng when I was busy doing marking.
For the past two weeks I had already tried to be nice to this weird man but he seemed to be incurable. He loved to take my softness for kindness and came straight to me instead of my gang since none of the rest would give a damn to him.
I told him to wait on and after Ah Teck arrived, he came to me directly again, showing that he had no intention to ask the giant for help. I bit my teeth and tried to make him not feel like a loser, but eventually, he did not get the computer ready for me to move, and thus wasting my time. In the end, he came up with the idea of using wheeled chair when I thought he could already get him a trolley in the first place. The conclusion was that he needed no assistance at all.
When I talked to one of my teachers, she mentioned that this monkey was lectured by her before and I was so shocked that such a good tempered and intelligent lady who had great patience for her students would raise her voice over her colleague. The story was that this monkey was inside her computer lab and she requested him to lift up something from the floor and he said no, which was so ungentleman of him. Then, he had the cheek to attempt to ask her to carry something for him in the staff room, where he received his second lecture for his pettiness.
When I told him I would like to keep the existing computer on my desktop by reformatting it, he accused me of playing with the password. I had already mentioned to him so long ago that before I switched desk, someone had already tampered with it. He hesitated to leave the computer to me until another colleague told him that she needed Yumei’s computer to extract files from floppy disk, and he asked me to reformat the computer on my desk for her to use.
I told him the reason for keeping the computer was because the laptop he passed to me was extremely slow and I had to open many documents often and even deal with Photoshop. He gave me a brainless suggestion of reformatting the laptop, which was of insignificant help since the specification of the laptop was so lousy. Moreover, he was the one who delayed the laptop that I only received it around nine months ago so pathetically; and that I only installed software that I desperately needed to use, and thus reformatting the laptop was useless when I had already minimised the chance of corrupted system registry.
I had made the decision of struggling with my laptop instead of wasting time to reformat the desktop.
I had an enjoyable day slacking at home on Monday. It was a rare holiday and I knew I need to relax myself.
I managed to update some blog entries for August with pictures and I was pleased with the effort for the code generator which I did weeks or months ago for changing the images' codes to my customised type within seconds. I was not able to automate the adding of water benchmark though.
I also had a few sessions of Condition Zero using the new nice monitor after testing around with the setting to realise that the software given simply sucked to the core. At a few occasions, my entire screen brought "Residence Evil" to reality. Luckily, with my familiarisation with changing the resolution for Windows XP, I was able to save the beyond-recognise display.
So much for work and fun, I almost forgot to drop my teachers greetings. I put my usual multitasking skill into good use, but was quite disappointed with my lack of focus on each individual task. Eventually, I missed out some of the teachers.
I did not go down to beach on Sunday with Peh since I already had two days of volleyball before that. The final decision to not be involved was because of the last day of Comex at Suntec City.
My wish to get a LCD monitor drew near.
I got myself the new computer more than a year ago with my earning from the internet but fund was insufficient for a full system – I went without a new monitor since the bulky Phillips was still within expected performance.
Over the year, I started to realise the essential of a new LCD monitor. - Saving of electricity - Better comfort to the eyes - A better resolution for more detailed design work - A wider screen for Photoshop work
My younger brother accompanied me down to the Suntec City Conventional Hall. The Human Race organised by Singtel together with the big electronic fair halted the flow of traffic nearby and we were trapped inside bus 197 since Fullerton hotel.
We conquered the entire exhibition area and finally reduced the range of brands to choose from – Samsung and LG. Acer's monitors were cheaper but the resolution was not any better – we mainly made comparison using a stated ratio. In the end, I chose Samsung 19' inches monitor despite it was twenty bucks more expensive than the LG's one. I did not expect to get such a big monitor at first but was glad over my final decision based on space and price differences.
It was one of my most difficult days with my stomach stitched again due to the late meal; it had been since after ORD that I was having this problem that I could not walk for long distance after having my meal. I struggled on since my younger brother wanted to look around for goodies.
We made a stop at the second floor at the area where Samsung dominated, sitting by the side of a wall at a quiet hall. Fifteen minutes later, I decided on my LCD monitor and made a purchase there and to realise that we had to go up to the fourth level to collect the freebies. At the payment counter, I received a shock when my "limit" for the NETS was over and luckily my younger brother was around.
It was a difficult task to cut through the crowd while pulling the given trolley for there were many brainless or blind people who almost tripped over it despite I had tried to be so careful with my "luggage".
We took bus 196 home. I transferred the most of the remaining money of my brother's purchase for his laptop to him and my new baby was the exchange of gift.
A day before, I was fighting against some Trojans and spywares.
That was probably caused by downloading of some cracks from the internet and my Norton Antivirus did not do enough to stop any intrusion internally.
Anyway, I supposed it was nothing serious. The problem was that the images on all web pages opened by Firefox were changed to some weird advertisements instead; none of the Adsense advertisements were spared.
The creator of the Trojan was quite smart in a way that he replaced all the Adsense advertisements, which certainly would cause huge damages to the webmasters who were trying to make a living through Adsense advertisements.
Most internet users would probably not care about whether the Adsense participants are making money a not. However, the replaced advertisements did consist of pornographic and also very distraction images.
As for me, I did achieve results from Adsense before though things were not going well for now, I really cared a lot about the replacements of the Adsense advertisements on my websites. At least, even though it did not matter since I could not click anything by myself, but the visualisation of the actual Adsense advertisements on my websites were essential somehow to my brain.
I used Spybot Search and Destroy as usual, then followed by Lavasoft Adaware. In my desperation, I tried SpywareBlaster and MindSoft Utilities, which did not show any progress. I rebooted my system in Safe Mode and did a thorough scan using Norton Antivirus but it proved me that the amount of time used were really meaningless.
In fact, Spybot Search and Destroy did detect two unusual spywares, one of them was called “double.click”. I surfed the net to realise there was a Trojan called “Trojan.Qhost.WU” which had been hijacking Google Adsense by redirecting advertisements from Google servers to a rogue server that displays advertisements from a third party.
Check for Trojan.Qhost.WU Infection in your computer:
Go to Start > Run > ping -t pagead2.googlesyndication.com
Result: Pinging pagead.l.google.com [6x.xxx.xxx.xxx] with 32 bytes of data:
If the first digit is a 6, you are not infected. If the first digit is a 9, you are infected with Trojan.Qhost.WU.
After repeating a few times of the scans, the problem was not solved. In the end, I even resorted to reinstall my Firefox. Since it was reaching daylight, I had to give up trying.
I got home after midnight to realise everything was working fine.
People usually upgrade their software, but I’m doing the opposite. I’m not trying to be funny or sentimental but being forced to do it.
The school is using office 2003 and thus I have to downgrade my computer’s office so that I can practise the work at home before going to class.
Microsoft office 2007’s interface is much better and I really like it a lot. However, I still prefer the tools’ grouping of 2003, except that I cannot use the “ctrl + shift + F” shortcut to change the font’s properties.
After installing office 2003, I realise I’m using Outlook since last year and the downgraded Outlook seems to be encountering problems. I shall think thrice before I act again.
Year 2007 was a total new experience for me. I began the year as a property agent, continued from the previous couple of months. This period lay my poorest days for I did not get to receive my commission (pay) until months later. I gave up after almost half a year of trying for reasons: - joined the wrong company - received basic training only four months after joining - met wrong “teachers” - market is too corrupted for a naïve me - too used to help people for free
It was a sad decision for the efforts I put in definitely deserved a much higher income; basically, I made less than a toilet cleaner. However, I managed to make use of the period of time to do up a website http://property.sillydumb.com. I also got to taste the hypocrisy of human beings, from fake people who indulged in the self assuming of being clear conscience.
Carol Ng was my benefactor to introduce me to a web design company, where I met the greatest souls on earth. Everyone tried so hard to stay for each other despite the not appreciating management. I learned little over there as Web Support and I did beyond my job scope. I left within four months together with some of them because I realised it was not worthwhile to sacrifice myself for people who were not unconcern.
I had a breakthrough in my web development. I managed to come out with a site that did give me some earnings for a couple of months before it died. With the money, I was able to get myself a new desktop, which I regretted badly for I could have chipped in more money for a laptop more convenient for a webmaster.
One of my new part-time jobs was filming at Mediacorp. It was thanks to Jesedy that I managed to gain this experience and know more about how filming was done. Each time, I got to make more new friends. However, it could only be a hobby and not permanent job.
I spent more than two months almost jobless, trying to learn PHP and MySQL on my own. The project was halted when I chanced upon a good opportunity as temporary lecturer. My first ever project for the school almost killed me, until the last day of the year, I was finally released.
Volleyball played a big part of my life as usual but my career path was never good. I started playing again a few months after my left calf operation to realise that I could never jump like the past. I lost my touch. The worst thing was when more injuries dragged me behind further.
Relationship began a downfall at the beginning of the year. However, it brought me to sense. My isolation from human beings worsened due to uncompleted projects.
I received two presents and an “ang bao”. Obviously, the “ang bao” was from my mum.
The first present was a G-Shock watch and that was my first G-Shock even though many friends already had one when they were even in primary school. My team-mates bought the watch for me and another Baby-G for Ruoci.
Next was a Logitech mouse cum keyboard set from Kian Wee, Gilbert and Barnie. Gilbert obviously knew what I really needed since he was one of my closest friends. The mouse certainly did me good since my old one was spoilt and could not function properly sometimes. Whereas the keyboard would certainly give me the ability to type better and thus faster since my old one was an antique; the best thing was that it came without “insert” button and yet, with some media controls at the top.
Thanks for the birthday wishes and presents.
I do not really like receiving present even though it will make me feel that I have more friends because in future I will feel guilty if I do not give my friends nice presents. It is a torture to think of what to buy for whoever as my brain cells is already killed by my late night sleep and websites.
I had dinner with my family on Saturday night, which was the eve of my birthday. We went to Marina South for steamboat since my mum had been mentioning about that place for quite long. We went to the famous “Zheng Fa” where they gave live crab and prawns but it was a letdown to receive a smelly crab which stunk a lot even after cooked. All the food was so salty that I gave up after a while. My younger brother had diarrhoea for the two days.
On Sunday, my actual birthday, I went to the beach with my team-mates and sadly, many of them could not make it. I missed my ex poly gathering because of it and the worst thing was that my secretary promised me a kiss if I were to make it. I supposed none of the ex classmates knew it was my birthday except for Wenchang and thus it would be weird for me to join them on that day anyway. We were cursed and lost every game to a group of beach fanatics who went down every weekend. At night, we went to Tiong Bahru for steamboat where others joined in. They got me a cake since I didn’t have any this year but I felt so weird and remorseful for wasting their money. It began to drizzle as we began to blow the candles.
I met up with Gilbert and Raymond (Barney) at Cityhall on Monday. Both Gilbert and I were very shocked when we realised Raymond was on time when we were even suspecting he might fly us aeroplane again. We went to Marina Square’s food court for our dinner. Raymond did not sleep due to project while Gilbert was dying of weekends burnt, and thus I felt guilty for them to turn up. I did not watch many cartoons when I was young and thus when Raymond started to sing “his” song, I was quite amazed, but only by the rhythm.
Barney Theme Song Lyrics
Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination And when he's tall he's what we call a dinosaur sensation
Barney's friends are big and small they come from lots of places after school they meet to play and sing with happy faces
Barney shows us lots of things Like how to play pretend ABC's, and 123's And how to be a friend
Barney comes to play with us Whenever we may need him Barney can be your friend too If you just make-believe him!
Gilbert recommended me to get A4Tech mouse. I checked the internet and saw that all the new series had an extra button on the left click button beside the wheel. It was for the purpose of “no more double click”, so that you could open a file with a single click. That was really creative but it reminded me of my Logitech mouse.
I don’t really need the button since double clicking has been a habit but it seems that I can’t kick the new feature away. It appears randomly on my Logitech mouse and I have been slowed down by it for more than two weeks already.
Imagine when you are dragging a file to another folder halfway, the file drops and soon you realise you are opening another file which your mouse pointer is at. Sometimes when I close a file, the file or folder behind will be closed as well. Highlighting texts is a major issue as well. So much time has been wasted.
I came across the Logitech mouse which Kachua recommended but I didn’t buy it. However, A4Tech mouse seemed so rare at Sim Lim Square and I really didn’t want to get another Logitech mouse, having the same problem again after a few years…
I managed to get to sleep at 3.30am and was waked up by Kenny at 1pm. It seemed long but was never enough sleep for me to repay my sleep debt.
I started working and received a call from a guy by the name of Guoliang, introduced by Ou Xiang. He was looking for house to rent and since I was not dealing with property at the moment, I gave him David’s contact, hoping to help both of them.
I wanted to go to support Mingfa for his inter-constituency volleyball final at Yio Chu Kang at 4pm but nobody from my team was going. Eventually, I stayed at home to work since I knew he had enough supporters going down. He managed to win the game and emerge the champion.
When my elder brother waked up from his nap after soccer, we left for Sim Lim Square at around 5pm. It was pretty packed there and we went straight to the shop named “Fuwell”. We seemed quite passive and one of the salesmen gave us suggestions for other hardware after we told him of the processor speed we wanted.
Everything went smoothly until it was time for payment my ATM failed me once again. There was this “Daily limit exceeded” error even though I did not purchase anything before that. My brother’s bank account had limited money and thus we had to go to the ATM machine which was distance away to withdraw cash. However, my brother suddenly remembered his girlfriend’s ATM card was with him and thus I had to loan from her first.
We took a cab home and started fixing up the system. It was pretty messy and I was totally lost, lucky for my brother was there to help me settle everything. Just then, we realised the casing came in three colours and the man chose the silver colour one for me. I preferred blue colour but it was good enough that he did not give me the red one.
Our Mac delivery came in time just after we fixed up the system. The new burger was quite tasty.
While I was installing the OS (Operating System), I realised I should have spent some extra money on purchasing a new DVD writer or player. The existing one was slow and old, and I always feared it might break down anytime. The installation did not complete as fast as I had expected for the new processor.
My old 40gb harddisk was placed into my brother’s CPU. After that, I dragged the files over through the network to my new harddisk. The transferring seemed to take forever.
Anyway, it was the first time ever in my life that I had spent so much on purchasing something using my own hard earned money; it was also the first time I had to pray so hard for the end of month to arrive soon to top up my bank account. I considered it a good investment for I needed the speed to shorten the time wastage, and that I was able to multitask as well.
I wished so much that I was able to recuperate the time lost in the past few years and also to accomplish the long overdue projects. Alas, I was also able to start using more software without fearing my system would run like a tortoise.
I only managed to sleep at 4am but had to wake up early. After lazing around on the bed as usual instead of beginning work as planned, I managed to reach the company before 10am. Iris conducted the interview with me and it seemed more like a chit-chat session. She talked more than me to explain about the company’s vision and current situation, and all the questions prepared were not asked.
A thousand dollar
A hundred dollar
I went home to rest immediately. I frequented the bedroom often while doing my work and finally left for Toa Payoh before 3pm. I got there in less than half an hour and waited there while playing game. I met up with Rahman and Kelly before 4pm and when Mr Low was going to pass me the money, I was stunned. At first I saw that there were only ten-dollar notes and it was weird to hold over hundred pieces of them. Rahman did not bring the invoice despite I had reminded him severe times. Everything was settled fast for there was no loan. Kelly had a chat with me outside as I looked at my watch, anxious to make it to the office before 5pm since it was a Friday.
Just as I was leaving, I received a phone call from Iris and she told me the company had decided to employ me. I was taken aback. The fact was that I did not show any talent during the interviews except for my honesty.
I took bus 153 to Bukit Merah and gave a call to Winnie when I passed by Queensway Shopping Centre and she hurried me. I rushed up to the office after reaching the interchange but Winnie made me wait there as she left the office. It was good to see Louis again. I felt quite awkward holding the money and standing there for so long.
On the way home, I was busy coordinating time with David and Kaven for the office space. I began with my work at home and also did some calling for the beach outing.
Quek called me and told me that he was coming over to my place to a pub for someone’s birthday celebration. I was not feeling well and never had the intention to drink and thus I told him to call me when he was bored and we would meet up for coffee instead.
I was preparing to reformat my harddisk for it had been years since I last did it. It was so lag despite I had been scanning it with my anti virus, spyware remover and registry cleaning software often. There were also other major problems like restarting of system on the start-up and wrong labelling of system’s drive.
However, my elder brother advised me not to waste time to reformat it and then he told me to use the MindSoft Utilities XP software to check for problems. Since my ideal plan was to get a faster computer when I got the money and that the 933 MHz system would never improve much, I decided to take up my brother’s suggestion for the time being.
Weitat was sending Junrong, Jingkun, Junyang and I home. He went to Beach Road first before taking the ECP to my house. I was a road idiot and since it was at night and my eyes were so tired after swimming and playing volleyball, I was unable to guide the way. The problem with me was that I rarely take that route since I was always taking public transport but not cab. Moreover, I was sitting at the back with my astigmatism.
First, we took the wrong exit out and Weitat drove towards ECP once again by making a right turn instead of going straight. We went back to Forte Road once again and passed by Suntec City. When we were near the MRT station, I told Weitat to keep left and be prepared to turn left. However, he did not catch that small path and we went into Ah Moy Street instead and had to take the Chinatown road back to my house. It was really challenging to drive to my house for each path taken wrongly would require you to make a big round.
Blogging and updating of my websites took hours and thus I did not get to sleep early again. This time, I went to my brother’s room and joined him so that I could have a peaceful morning. I was waked up by an asshole of unfamiliar number. I supposed the previous owner of my phone number did not notify her colleagues and friends one year after changing her number and I was the unlucky Starhub subscriber to get that number.
In the afternoon, I sent an email to Kaven but there was a big error. Afterwards, we discussed over the cash he had to prepare but it did not tally. Suddenly, I realised it was communication problem again between Kelly and I. I was so disappointed with myself.
My younger brother and my mum were packing the room and dumping many of my mum’s junks. I was pretty distracted by them. I spent the afternoon chatting with Mike and Kaven and also, editing of websites as usual.
This night, the speed of my computer and internet pissed me off once again. Perhaps I should try to reformat my windows after years of untouched.
I worked through the early morning again and this time, with a little packing of my wardrobe. Messages from the office waked me up at around 11am. By then, I was never interested in the projects anymore. Afterwards, Amy called me and arranged to collect the keys from me, which was just nice that I needed not go all the way down to office.
Life was dull and boring. With sleepiness, I could hardly do anything and when my brother and his girlfriend returned, I knew there was little chance for packing. Justus came over to bomb me with more work and I had to abandon my web design. I knew his motive for I had known him since he was a baby and other than seeking companion to do his work, he was looking for games at my house.
After working on a picture of a flat, I only used a tiny portion of it as background image; that was really so not-cool.
In the evening, Amy finally called me up and I missed some parts of the show to go down and wait for her arrival. Next, I installed the driver for the Sony Ericsson’s k800i into my brother’s computer. His harddisk was wiped out again and that was why I had no chance to upload the photos from my phone into the computers.
At night was updating of my older blog entries with the photos.
