I had a lazy morning doing work while chatting with Carmen until 7am.
Huiting messaged me to delay the meet-up time and later, she decided to go for a movie instead of cycling since it was far. I met up with her at Vivocity’s cinema ticket booth near 3pm. After we bought the tickets to “Meet the Focker”, we went to Long John’s Silver for lunch.
It was a humorous movie that caused laughers inside the theatre. After that, I sent Huiting to work before going home and dozing off in the early evening.
My mum ordered delivery from the Golden Café for dinner. I spent the night working on the tuition agency site and also had some discussion with my brother again.
I spent the morning on a new feature in my tuition agency website’s admin page for accounting purposes. Finally, I slept at 8am.
I woke up at 2pm and was mentally prepared to join Huiting and her friends at Marina Bay but Huiting was down with flu. In the end, the outing was cancelled.
I uploaded the new files to the live site and started with WordPress. In the past when I did not have admin access to my page control panel, I was unable to play with it and thus, I gave up. I wanted to move away from Blogger since long ago but I did not have time. Now, having access to my own webhost, I was able to set up WordPress in a few clicks.
Mike sent me details about my horoscope and it was way long for reading but they were all true about me. I managed to finish half of it before my elder brother and mum wanted to go to Vivocity for dinner.
We shopped at Giants at the top storey and I was most interested in the furniture area where there were nice sofa-beds. After that, we moved to Pet Safari and our dinner was taken at Long John's Silver.
I went to bed at 4am and woke up after 1am. I blogged to clear some existing tabs in my browser. The packet rice was somehow terrible, or rather, my appetite was very bad.
I saw Zaki in MSN and I messaged him to ask about the updates for the gathering but he told me it would be cancelled. He asked me to go shopping for his video camera together, followed by a catching a movie. I called our buddies but none of them was free.
I met up with Zaki at Plaza Singapura at 6pm. We went to get the movie tickets first and started walking around. We visited Best Denki first but the salesgirl seemed to have no initiative. Though it was a moving out clearance sales, the selling price was definitely not the best. We walked over to Centre Point and the auntie at Harvey Norman was too busy clearing her stuffs slowly, rather than to even acknowledge our existence. We went to the Courts and waited for very long for the promoter to serve us. The Canon video camera was tempting and the promoter had a good trick of offering us an “extra battery” but Zaki was too calm to be impulsive.
Next, we went to SingPost at KPO building to collect his registered mail. I was quite amazed with the well decorated SingPost but the location was weird. I hated the idea of having to walk past smokers to get in. I was amazed by the products of SYOG at the display cabinets and the staffs were in Crocodile polo tee with SYOG logo printed on the chest. It was quite a long wait.
After that, we walked towards Long John's Silver at MDIS building. Zaki bought an umbrella with Singapore flag near the entrance of MRT station before we went for our dinner. I ordered Golden Deal 1 with three pieces of chicken. It was more crowded than usual and a lady was lying on the table near the entrance to sleep.
We walked to Zaki’s place. He had a shower while I caught a documentary on Thailand’s death. I was amazed when I used the laser point to point at the floor and his cat, Pika, started chasing around. However, I could conclude that he gave up easily.
Zaki drove over to Plaza Singapura. I was already exhausted somehow, feeling unwell. My throat was rough and I regretted that I should have bought his second idea of packeting chicken rice back to his house for dinner instead. We walked around for a while before the movie, Salt, started. Sitting at the third row worsened my condition.
After the movie, Zaki sent me home and I felt embarrassed. Practically, I was stoning all the way and thinking if Salt’s movements were realistic, and also comparing her to my favourite Japanese game show - Ninja Warriors.
My brother invited me to a game of Command and Conquer Generals. It was the second time I moved my laptop to sit beside him to battle against the computers in the three-against-five war. I started blogging and knocked off at 5am.
In the morning, I went to meet Gilbert to borrow his camera just below his office. He took some time to explain to me regarding the functions. I felt quite bad for he had an outing on Saturday morning and he would not be able to use his camera then. Next, I went to Potong Pasir to return my graduation gown to the Serangoon Broadway photo studio. I could not recognise myself in the photo which I was having a handshake with the presiding officer, Professor Joe Chicharo, taken by them. They were good in selling products for they wanted me to get a larger version of the photo with frame at the price of $45, which I immediately rejected them.
I went to Vivocity to meet up with Irwin. I only got to see a quite pretty girl while waiting for him at the seat at level one. We proceeded to Starbucks and the golden area I sat when meeting Hoay Min previously was available and we started camping there for the entire afternoon. There were some distractions, especially from a couple. The girl sounded like a slut, raising her voice while flirting with the guy. Then, she repeatedly called “bitch” for very long that both Irwin and I felt like going over to give her a slap. An ang moh sitting behind the guy and besides our table seemed to be irritated by them and left.
It was not a very good afternoon for me for I had designer’s block. At least, I got to read through one edition of the Home Décor magazine, and some of the designs impressed me a lot.
We left in the early evening and had ultra late lunch at Long John’s Silver. We went to Daiso where I got myself another belt to replace the current one. After that, we played a round of basketball at the arcade. I tested Gilbert’s camera and the battery bar dropped very soon.
After working till late, I woke up near noon to miss an hour of my favourite show on channel 8 – Plan A. Peh postponed the time of our meeting and thus I was able to slow down my pace.
I did not feel good since the joint on my left arm was giving me sharp pain whenever I tried to move it. I knew it was due to the improper sleeping position the night before the barbecue, which I swam and also carried excess heavy stuffs. I was quite frightened because I realised I could have dislocated my arms if I were to push myself more on that day.
As expected, he was late and I went to Tiong Bahru Plaza’s Long John Silver to sit down and continue with my uploading of photos in Facebook. We had very long chat before he started to do the financial planning for me. Since my elder brother was a financial planner as well, meeting up with Peh was simply to help him improve on his skill. I felt awkward since we would normally crap together instead of talking about such serious things. I hated telling anyone about my very private stuffs.
It was supposed to be a lunch together but he had already taken his lunch and thus, I did not find a better place to give him a treat, having to owe him his birthday present or meal for the past two years already.
After Peh left, I continued to work with my laptop until after 6pm. I dozed off quite soon after reaching home and woke up at around 9pm for my dinner. Then, I continued with my website.
On Tuesday morning when I reached my desk, I saw the driving basic theory book. Kevin remembered it well and spent extra efforts to even place it there, which made me very touched.
It was not an easy morning when there was invigilation to do, especially having to arrange the messed up tables and seats in the normal classroom. Luckily, I was seeing my favourite class.
I had one of the weirdest lunching team. Since Mei Hoe had work to do, Vivian joined Daniel and I at the “Dead end”. I took a plate of wantan mee while both of them had fish soup. The stall was ridiculous to charge Daniel an extra forty cents for changing the noodle to rice, but Daniel claimed that the bowl of soup had more ingredients.
We had half an hour lunch, one of the fastest ever. After sending Vivian back, I accompanied Daniel to IMM’s Giants to get apples. I wanted to get some for Mei Hoe but the expensive and big ones did not have very good skin. After choosing for very long, I gave up.
I was studying for my driving test all the way inside the car on both trips. However, on the returning trip, I almost dozed off completely a couple of times.
I stayed for longer than usual again in the late afternoon before walking alone to the MRT station. I went to Long John Silver’s at Plaza Singapura for dinner and Stephen joined me after that. We moved to The Cathay’s Starbucks to meet up with Soon Siong and later, we did some testing and I was quite amazed by both the programmers’ work. Andy did not go down due to work. We stayed until around 10.30pm before we called it a day.
I had to package my lunch back to the staff room since my kiakis were all busy.
Kachua arrived with my dinner in the evening, Long John Silver’s golden deal one, and I did not play in the first two games. Mingfa brought his Clementi Woods Secondary students down and we were very impressed with their attitudes. I did not get to play with the Filipinos until the last game, and could no longer hold any enthusiasm.
We wanted to go to East Coast Park’s Si Nai Hong Kong café for dinner but it was already closing by the time we reached and thus, we switched to the branch at Tanjong Katong. I had nothing except for a cup of ice blended mango drinks.
Last Saturday was my virgin visit to Singapore Expo. The Adidas sales caught my attention but sadly, it was far too crowded as the shoppers seemed to be busy grabbing all the items at all counters without putting much thought.
The wait near Tampiness MRT station was long but nice. It was my second visit to the IKEA @ Tampiness but this time the shuttle bus escorted me over in the rain. A pity for my stomach was stiff again and I could not dine at the IKEA restaurant.
My stomach was left empty until in the late night, I had my favourite Long John’s Silver at Compass Point.
I could not get to sleep after having five hours of nap. The three hours of sleep after that almost kept me on bed and late for work.
The most shocking thing that happened in the morning was Kevin’s SMS to inform me that he was sick. It was never easy to operate alone in Bukit Batok but I was glad and guilty that he joined me even though he was on MC. His consideration made me feel so lousy somehow because it was obvious that I could not handle things good enough; he was simply too impressive.
The morning ended earlier than ever and I proceeded back to office. Mingfa came later without Mingli despite they had planned earlier on to come together for lunch. Weitat was absent for the second day, down with gastric flu and that he did not even reply my SMS the day before and that showed how bad his condition was.
In the afternoon, I was killed by my Flash game because of the Toa Cah Soh part, which had left me since more than four years ago.
In the late afternoon, I had a little amendment to the “no smoking” poster before some of us gathered to wait for the clock to tickle. Bernard sent Wei Ming and I to Dover MRT, while George continued the ride and was probably sent to NTU directly for his night lesson by the kind fellow.
After reaching home, I remembered my mum was not cooking and that there were stories to hear from Irwin and thus I dated him out for dinner. We got to chat at Vivocity’s Long John's Silver and later at the Sky Park.
Eugene came over to join us and we went to Kim Gary restaurant to accompany him for dinner. The waitress, Wang Na, was quite a babe. After the freezing moment in the snow-like place, we ended the day.
I got home to resume my battle through MSN with the skinny skeleton while Irwin was still on his an hour walking trip home with the hill climbing exercise at the end of the journey.
Irwin returned to Singapore yesterday morning. He messaged me in MSN at around nine PM to ask me to go for golfing. I was itchy for it as well, especially for the late night experience, I agreed instantly. He reached my place twenty minutes in his brother’s car and we sped off to the Queenstown shooting range.
We managed to reach before ten PM but the auntie told us that even though the range centre would be opened until eleven PM, the shop was closing at ten and without the clubs, we had to give up. We decided to go home straight away and turn up early at seven AM to “knock” on the shop’s door.
I did manage to wake up at six AM but was too sleepy to clear my mind before I started dozing off for another hour. Irwin messaged me just in time and I quickly got up and started preparing. We met up at eight AM and it was really fortunate that Irwin could get his brother’s car again such that it greatly reduced my travelling time and waste of strength.
It was my third golfing session and we went to the second level again. The weather was fine at first but it got a little warm for some time before it drizzled for a few minutes. Everything was fine except for the number of smokers who were dying to get lung cancer.
Blisters!
There was not much improvement for me since I still could not withhold my own bullish strength and greed to slam the golf club towards the ball, such that I could not get a perfect hit. Nevertheless, the continuous reflections through the entire game did save my hands from having muscle ache. It was the first time I left the shooting range without internal pain, but also the first time I suffered from blisters; three burst and two recovered.
We played a total of around six hundred balls before I gave up and Irwin got himself another fifty plus and finished them in no time. It was a great relaxing morning.
We went for brunch at Vivocity and I finally got to enjoy Long John Silver’s combo one again. Irwin got himself some name card papers and ink cartridges before sending me home.
Golf would probably resume after his return from Korea next Friday.
The Teachers' Day Celebration was dull. I received a couple of presents and cards from students eventually. I was overjoyed not for receiving presents but was more pleased with the fact that some of them had shown appreciation.
What is most important about education is morale after all.
We had our dinner at IMM. Jingkun's car did us lots of time and energy saving. We met up with Mingfa there and I finally had my Long John Silver's meal after missing it for a couple of time. This time, I was greedy and had three pieces of chicken instead of the usual cheapo-yet-cost-effective combo one.
Before the volleyball game started, I fell into concussion once again for I had only around two hours of sleep before that.
The few of us seemed to be reluctant to strive hard like usual because of the Rip Curl beach volleyball game the next day. Apart from trying not to wear myself off, I was basically strengthless and my performance declined soon.
It was one of the rare times that I would leave the place early right after nine PM. eventually I got a little frustrated of myself for forgetting to bring my formal wear home after leaving them on the side bench.
Hard work saturated into my brain again and this day I worked till daylight once again. I had some discussion with Irwin before I went off to bed.
Kelly waked me up at around noon time and told me to go and get some document from Kaven to submit to HDB hub on the same day. I was in quite a mess for I had to pass the Ang Mo Kio keys back to Louis in the office as well.
I called Kaven to inform him that I was going over and soon left my house without eating anything. I walked to Hong Leong Building again and after collecting the documents from Kaven, I lost my way while I was in search of the Raffles’ Place MRT station. It was probably because of the lack of sleep that my brain was not functioning properly and went in wrong direction.
Anyway, the trip was fruitful for I got to see some pretty businesswomen and later at the train, I saw cute school girls.
I went to HDB hub straight away at counter A and requested to see the officer at counter 28. I was glad that there was no queue and I soon submitted the documents to the friendly and smart lady there.
Afterwards, I went to Long John Silver’s to take my late brunch and I took Combo 1 as usual. As I was busy replying Kelly and Kaven’s SMSes, I forgot to collect the change from my fifty dollar note and was so embarrassed. The serving was so pathetically small and I was busy replying SMS that the lady besides me left before me.
I took bus 153 towards Bukit Merah. It was a brilliant idea for I would probably not be able to find a seat on the train and the journey was around forty minutes or lesser, which was almost the same for taking train and having to walk a long distance back to office. However, I lost the chance to see more girls. I was planning to sleep throughout the journey but I did not catch a wink at all.
As I entered the office, I realised Louis was not around. I passed the keys to Regina instead and hanged around in the office before using the computer to print out some research for Jessica. I was looking at some magazines at the sofa and the designs were so inspiring. Francis saw me and informed me of the news about future rental deals. I hanged around there until 5pm when the sky turned grey.
I took bus 145 home since the bus-stop was nearer to my house. On the way, Xavier replied me and he seemed to be doing good in BMT.
After reaching home, I continued with my work but I could not overcome my sleepiness. I managed to upload the photos taken with Gilbert and Yongcai during the swim.
Even though I had to get up early, I did not try to catch more sleep again. I tried to improve on the property website as usual. Then, I was staring at the screen, looking at my own typing of the Lonestar story. Blogging took me some time and I went off at around 4.30am finally. I seemed to be so lost the entire morning.
I had to wake up as early as 8.30am to prepare everything. I sorted out some documents and then started working on my brother’s computer. The biggest task was to burn some software for Suimin, who I might get to meet her soon, and I wanted to bring it along with me. However, I was a nerd in burning CD and it took me so long to give up trying as I was getting late. So, I typed into a notepad to ask my brother to help me in case I needed to come home to get it any time.
As usual, people were blocking my way as they really did not bother about occupying the whole space whether at the stairs or a narrow road. Perhaps, I was expecting too much for I had always tried to look around so that I would not obstruct anyone on the road if I were taking a stroll. I missed a bus 196 and I almost thought it was end of the world. As some drops of sweat started to drip, bus 167 came instead.
I was in fact a few minutes earlier and the meeting started late. I was not used to seeing so many people in the company and thus I tried to hang around the receptionist area but everyone was busy. Peixian’s mum, Irene, reached and gave me heart-warming smile. Then, she started to question about my well-being.
The meeting started at the working areas instead of the meeting room. I felt it was quite pathetic. I wanted to raise some doubts but held back since I did not have enough sleep and would probably not able to debate well with them. I wanted to point out the fact about the training but was worried that it might affect Louis.
There were broadcast of many things but I had many doubts in them because I was not the naïve newbie who was there for the first day anymore. There were interruption over the phone and I started to drift away from the announcements. Lincoln was asking to view some flats at Ang Mo Kio urgently and I knew I had to cancel the appointment to learn from Jolee at the HDB hub.
Some rental’s lobangs were out but before Kelly and I could coordinate well to book the flats, they had been snatched. Some news could be leaked out somewhere, somehow, to somebody earlier.
Anyway, I got the keys from Louis and then waited for very long time to see another guy in the administration team. I truly believed that not everyone was as helpful and friendly as Louis and that was really terrible.
Then, I rushed off to the HDB branch office to get some OTP forms, got a bun from the cake shop below and proceeded to Redhill MRT station. I was blocked by many blind and deaf tortoises on the way. After reaching Ang Mo Kio MRT, I started to walk so briskly and at paths where few people were around, I started running in my full formal attire and heavy sling bag.
I arrived at the flat in time. I received Lincoln in sweat ten minutes later. Then, we proceeded from block 114 to 117. Lincoln was very nice and respectful all along and he reminded me of Denis. Then, he drove me to Toa Payoh but on the way, I got to know that his client had viewed three units before mine and she was considering the earlier ones only, which meant that my trip down was a wasted one. It was very disappointing for I did not expect them to have viewed so many units already. At least, he was a nice guy and I would not mind.
I started calling Yaozhong but he was at Marina Square. I messaged Shengli and he did not want to come down to accompany me. I went into the pathetic small arcade and came out soon. Then, I remembered that I had not taken my lunch and thus I went to Long John Silver’s. After that, I camped there to pen things down and surprisingly none of the staffs came over to clear my table.
There were a few groups of “bengs” and “lians”. There were also this weird couple sitting at another corner. The girl was either from Raffles Girls’ School or Raffles Junior College and she seemed to be so sick or unhappy but both of them still behaved quite intimately, lying on each other’s shoulder that I could not make out what was wrong. I almost dozed off many times.
It was before 5pm and Kelly had arrived at block 171. She started to contact Cherylyn to ask about the second viewing. Cherylyn told Kelly that she was still waiting to keep in touch with her clients and therefore we continued to wait. After some time, Kelly called me and told me to go home as Cherylyn’s clients did not want the flat anymore.
We were played. Cherylyn had called me the day before in the afternoon that her clients wanted a second viewing. We were kept waiting for the date and time until this evening she told us the clients did not want it anymore due to the low level.
We started to recall how many times we had entertain that company’s agents down to Ang Mo Kio, Tampiness and Bedok, but none of them had helped us to close any deal, wasting so much of our time, energy and money. Kelly told me not to deal with that batch of people anymore.
It was a dull journey home. Jolee told me I had to attend seminars in order to avoid similar problems in future but I was too moody and tired to do anything. I spent the stupid evening alone. I realised my elder brother had helped me to burn the CD but since Suimin did not reply my greeting message, I did not bother to tell her about it.
I was somehow born to experience darkness and thus I had to learn how to indulge in suffering.
A foreign bitch pissed me off in the early morning. I could not stand her arrogance and decided to remove her away from my internet life totally.
Kelly gave me a bad news after I woke up and the deal with Uncle Sam was called off for the clients had found themselves other flat. If I were to get to know their hotel’s name, I would definitely condemn it for they had given us empty promise. I went downstairs to inform Uncle Sam about it but he was not around. Therefore, I told Lulu about it and she did not show any disappointment at all.
Gilbert managed to get hold of Hong Kiat and we decided on to have a swim at Ang Mo Kio. Before going over to the MRT station, I approached Uncle Sam and apologised to him for the delay. He was okay with it.
I thought I would be late but I reached there sharp at 2.30pm. Weather was not showing good. We proceeded on instead but I was hesitating when both of them were already inside the water. It was drizzling and I did not want to get wet and having the lifeguard blowing whistler to leave the pool anytime. Eventually I joined them.
Hong Kiat
Hong Kiat
Swimming was difficult for the birthday gift, swimming trunk, from Gilbert was quite loose. It was a weird design for it did not come with a string. It was impossible for me to swim fast for the pressure would certainly pull it down. Gilbert claimed that I had to wear it lower but it showed little sign of improvement.
Can never be as fit as before
After swimming a few laps across the lanes, I went up to check my phone to reply to Ren Yao’s message. There were also a number of missed calls and I supposed Kelly had messaged other agents of our holdings. I was quite stunned for I had informed her I was going for a swim already.

We continued for a while before going to wash up. Kelly called me and informed me that Bedok flat was booked and would be signed at night, which boosted my morale. Then, we crossed the Bishan Park to Junction 8 and had great conversations throughout. We had our meals at Long John Silver’s and camped there for quite a long time before going to the Popular bookshop. Gilbert showed me another Singapore Transport Guide and I was quite regretful of getting my current one before this one was like a book and the numbers of the buses were shown by the bus-stop label.
After that, we left on our own ways. I waited quite long for bus 53 and arrived at Lorong Ah Soo. An agent by the name of Ann called me to persuade me to show her client to the Bedok flat and she would sign it immediately. I got her to call Kelly instead.
My good friend, Milo, who stays at 129, Lorong Ah Soo
Later on, the clients arrived and we showed them to the house before Grace even arrived. I started playing with Milo immediately. After everyone had arrived and finished their viewing, we went down to the stone table to do all the documentations. Finally, Kelly got back her $250, which she paid for the buyer earlier. There were problems on that client’s soon-to-be sold house, however, was settled by Grace eventually. We would soon wait for the option exercise fee to be paid when the client’s HDB loan was settled. She looked like a very nice lady and she loved dog as well, but I was not sure whether to address her as Miss Tan or Mdm Tan.
Kelly and I dashed to Bedok to settle the block 204 flat and I had to miss the chance to pay Angel a visit at the coffee shop. We were half an hour late but I was surprised that the client, George, was not as difficult to deal with as describe. He was a great joker and I could see how much he loved his mum. It was actually a happy moment with them, sitting down at the coffee shop. He bought Kelly and me drinks before we went up to view the flat.
George’s wife is an Indian and he was a Eurasian. I was quite glad to witness such mixed races couples through this line. She was there for the first time but was very satisfied with it. I was very glad to be able to close the deal for Sebastian, their initial agent, had promised Kelly to give us all the commission if she could settle some administration work for them. However, Kelly’s friend who had declined to the offering of the flat was changing his idea again. Kelly had to turn him down so that we would not let down Sebastian and the very keen and funny couple.
Kelly's bike at petrol station
Documentation was a hassle again. We had everything settled only after 11pm. Kelly sent me home at around 11.30pm and we went to the Shell Petrol station straight to refill the tank. Then, we went to the coffee shop to get some food.
After reaching home, suddenly I remembered I had also taken Combo one of Long John Silver’s for the day and not just the two slices of bread. Work had actually made me forgotten about my meals.
Siu Hang’s invitation to the karaoke occupied my Friday night.
First was the meet up with Gilbert at Somerset MRT. I took bus 124 from Bukit Purmei which he boarded the train from Ang Mo Kio. So coincidentally, I arrived just a minute before him.
We took dinner at Cineleisure’s Long John Silver’s as I denied the options of MosBurger and Yoshinoya which he loved a lot. I ordered Cajun chicken rice for the first time. The meat was soft and appetizing but the reason for dining there should be for the cheap food, whereas that meal was in fact quite expensive.
We went to the Party World to join them, having given the false information of the level and room number. The five of us had a crappy night but however my throat was giving me problems again and that I could not really hear my voice at times and often being distracted by second voice that did not rhythm.
We did not make full use of the four hours there so as to catch the train. We left at around 2330h and dashed towards Somerset MRT. Tze Siang and Siu Hang crossed the wrong road (further away), while Yongfu, Gilbert and I smartly not wait for the traffic light at that direction.
However, Yongfu took the same train as Gilbert which was in the wrong direction. He managed to catch the last train still. Tze Siang was not so lucky that he transited at Cityhall and ended up at Kallang. Then he had to take cab home towards the west, costing him more than twenty bucks.
This night, I wasted a chance to get to see Vivi and send her home after her rehearsal at Chinatown again. Disappointment and guilt battled over the relief of accompanying my friends. Love and friendship were difficult to be balanced.
Anyway, that was quite enough for the money spent and I should be saving up more for my ORD fund.
I always thought the weather forecast was very accurate but I was wrong.
Saturday supposed to be the day for the cycling outing at Pulau Ubin and I cancelled it since the weather forecast said it would rain before and after noon. Gilbert and I decided to go for a swim in the later part of the afternoon and Peh decided to join us.
We arranged to meet at three at Ang Mo Kio MRT but the sky from the view of my windows was greyish. I messaged Gilbert who replied me after some time to confirm the plan was still on. I could reach there on time but I was too distracted when Vivi was away and that I tried to finish my diary fast. Laugh for all you want but it was the first time I forgot to transit to another train at Raffles’ Place. I was late for around twenty minutes after I took the opposite train back from Kallang.
Just as we were walking out from the MRT station, a familiar face was staring at me as we passed by each other. Soon after, Ren Yao called me and asked if I was at Ang Mo Kio. I realised I had just seen her sister at the entrance a moment ago. It was cool that she still remembered me.
It was quite a long walk to the swimming pool and we passed by some flats where dead pigeons were found on the ground. Peh called the police to inform them of this suspicious founding since the cause could be some diseases; however, they gave him another number to report about it instead. He dialled the new number and finally that person called another organisation to clear the dead pigeons away. We were quite amazed of the trouble we had to take in order to do good deeds by informing about it.
We got down the Olympics pool and it was freezing. I was jumping insides the water and a little boy near me asked, “Are you very cold?” I acknowledged it and he started splashing water onto me. Then, he started to do it to Peh and Gilbert too. We started swimming to the other end but he climbed up to the ground and ran over instead. We swam around twenty laps, resting a while after each lap, and were disturbed by the little boy once again.
I realised my condition was bad enough that during the second lap, the lowest part of my thighs, joining the knee caps were very fragile. My thighs were going to get cramps anytime even though I did not have any exercise the day before. I knew it was due to the same problem of my loose knee caps, which no useless doctor could diagnose and cure it. I actually finished the rest of the laps with breast stroke, using very little kicking force. I was having this feeling that I might be lame anytime.
Though the sky was a bit greyish, it did not rain at all. We went to Gilbert’s house for a while and then took MRT to Bishan Junction 8. Anyway, I was surprised to see Gilbert’s monitor being so big and placed vertically instead. His keyboard and mouse were cool and that I loved his floor tiles a lot.
It was the first time I took Combo 2 set meal at Long John Silver’s. Comparing the size of the two chickens and one fish, I was amazed. Despite the fact that the fish was much bigger in size, I still preferred chicken.
After exerting myself, I was so hungry that I had to find more food to fill my stomach. I had a meat stick at the basement and finally a chocolate waffle ice-cream at the MacDonald’s to satisfy the thirst for food.
We moved on to Gilbert’s favourite hobby – shopping. However, the shopping king did not manage to get any stuff by the end of the day and was quite disappointed.
